They called our landline at 954 pm! I didn't answer but looked up info on this site. I had calls from these people before who claimed to be windows support and I messed with them and told them to take us off the call list. They are lowlifes. I don't think anyone has the time to deal with their stupid scam.
Called at 940pm. It was a real person, but they took too long to respond after I said hello, so I knew it wasn't anyone I wanted to talk to and hung up.
Called at 10:30pm saying they were windows microsoft support and geek squad security and my computer had malware and spyware, then proceeded to get me infront of my computer to click the start button and go to the run icon, then wannted me to enter a code. Couldn't give any information about me and said if I didn't they would blacklist my computer and tommorrow it would be too late and not work. I refused and he became very upset. I then reported them to the real geek squad and windows support who verified it wasn't them and they had received other reports. I then called the scammers on both of my phones and could hear the conversations I was having in the background on both lines. Continued twenty or so times and let them try to scam me then I would hang up lol pay back
Just called, 9:40 PM. Said all of the above and below. I could barely understand what she was saying, just sounded urgent and my computer had many viruses that had to be cleared up right away or it will break down immediately and I will loose everything. A lot of background noise. I told her it was 9:30 at night and it is illegal to call at that time. She just kept ranting on and on how I had to get in front of my computer right away so it can be repaired. I asked her her name. She said Leeza. I asked her to spell it, she refused. I asked for the windows number and she said I could get it off my phone. I told her no, I wanted her to give it to me. I told her in clear terms that she has called me at 9:30 at night and she needs to tell me her full name and I want the telephone number of where she is calling from, I am not getting it from my phone. I want to hear her tell me the phone number. She hung up.
Very bothersome call!!! I do not expect these calls, especially late at night.
