they called from 289-201-2420. same thing no message. my number is a cell ph. how did they get it??

it's a number from some "wca offer clearing house" what ever that is. They continue to call even if you "remove" your number when calling back... Best to maybe block it or ignore it. Probably a scam...
I just got a new phone number and from day one I've been receiving nothing but annoying calls from those telemarketers.
The best thing to do is register on-line or by phone with the National Do Not Call Registry.
If the unwanted annoying telemarketing,clearing house etc, calls continue you have the legal right to sue them especially if your on the national do not call list.
I read about a women that sued them for about $500.00 last year for the constant annoying phone calls,I'm about to do the same,I've been receiving calls since last Tuesday when I registered but, make sure you confirm your registration to get on the list.
Most companies don't bother checking the DNC list, those that do check it only do so every 3-6 months. Being on the DNC only allows you to sue them for continuing to call you anyway.
