One solution is to block this number with your cell phone provider. If you are a Verizon customer, they include an opition that allows you to block for free up to 5 numbers on all of the lines associated with your account. This can be found under the My Verizon tab, then look under I Want To, under the Plan tab there is an opition to block calls & messages. Hope this helps.
I got a call from this number shortly after I was on their web site looking at getting service for my mom. I am already a customer and when I go to their web site it always has my account on there because of their cookies. It must have seen me looking at different packages and called with some offer. I was away from the phone at the time and it left no message.
Cancel Direct TV and then you can get around the Do Not Call Registry. Lol. But really, why don't we all contact Direct TV's Customer Service's Email and complain, complain, complain instead of blogging about it. If you're a customer just tell them that they need to stop or we will stop their service!
