Same thing happens to me. They call and tell me they are with the IRS and my address is under investigation. I call back they keep hanging up on me or a guy answers and ask me to verify my name and social? I told them I wasn't confirming anything because I don't even know who they were. He told me they were team Anderson and he's with the IRS but then hung up on me . I called back they won't answer!
They keep calling and leaving messages about IRS investigation. When I call back, a man who speaks limited English hangs up on me when I challenge his authority. This is a scam!
