Called and pretended to be the IRS. Definitely a scam. I have had an accountant for years that has taken care of my taxes! Pretended that I owed $3300.32 one time, then talked to another individual and he asked me how much the last guy said I owed! Bad part is they had my SS number somehow..... Either way, i asked them if I could speak to someone that speaks english so that I could understand what was going on and they got angry at me.
I have received multiple threatening calls from this number which is fraudulant. The lady leaves a message stating my identity or address us being investigated by the IRS and that I must call back right away since the IRS can attach my bank account.
Receiving calls from this number almost every day, caller ID shows Wilmington, DE. Today decided to pick up and listen to the message. Well, "curiosity killed a cat" - got a robo-message that our address is under IRS investigation and we need to call back immediately or else (seizing property, bank account etc). Scam.
