Called my grandma saying she had a virus and needed to download TeamViewer, which is a program that controls another person entirely even blocking the other person from having control of the device. Thank god she didn't Do it. He said his name was Siam Martin. Called from 302-409-0982
This guy said that he was from Microsoft and that my computer was emitting a problem signal, so I challenged him and asked pointed questions, told him he was a (bad word) fraud and he hung up on me.
I get calls from them a couple of times a month. I got a call from them, today, and asked for the caller's name and number, so I could give it to the attorney general. He said his name was Sam Thomas, but he didn't sound like a Sam Thomas. Mentioning the attorney general didn't dissuade him. He still wanted to help me with my computer. I told him that I didn't have a computer, and that's why I thought it was a scam. He hung up.

Asked him for his phone # so I could call him back & he hung up. Called me 2 hours later. Told him I'd ask my son who has a degree in computer science about the so-called virus protection that I needed. He hung up again.
