I don't know if this is really Comcast b/c I do have an account with them, but they called me today asking if I wanted to make a payment over the phone for my account before late fees were applied. Long story short, I knew my account was 100% up to date so I called 1-800-Comcast and she said they have no record of anyone calling me today and that no late fees were not about to be applied because my bill wasn't due until the 25th.
Bottom line, I think this is a scam. I could be wrong, but better safe than sorry.
I don't think it's a scam (though I could be wrong). I got this number, nothing but dead air except background call center noise. I say this because comcast was to ONLY one to have the number I received this call on. I cancelled my service about a week ago and have received 6 calls from comcast in the last week! They have horrible service and then they send the marketing guerillas after you cancel. It's absurb.
THIS NUMBER IS COMCAST THEY WANTED TO KNOW IF WE R PAYIN THERE CABLE BILL OF COURSE WE R DUH BUT THEY WONT STOP CALLIN I WILL THREATEN THEM TOO LEAVE US ALONE SOMETIMES WHEN WE ORDER ON PAY PER VIEW WE CALL THEM BCUZ WE WANT TOO WATCH THE DARK KNIGHT.
