They've harrassed me too, even calling from local numbers in my region but with this as call back. Very nasty and sounds shady. Similar spiel I've read about from shady collectors... "regarding paperwork just come across my desk regarding allegations..."o
I've received a few phone calls from Jamie @ The Myers Group with a call back number of 302-703-0752 stating that they haven't heard from me or my lawyer and if I don't call back today that a "Direct refusal to cooperate" will be filed. Um, I've never heard a debt collector use such aggressive actions. I won't be caling back and I WILL be blocking her number.
A woman named Jamie keeps calling my mom from this number. She says she is looking for me and i need to have a lawyer. When my mom asked her for information she gets irate and hangs up. This is a scam. No bill collector contacts your family members before they contact you.
Jamie from the Myers Group called asking for my daughter. Says she is uncooperative and will take legal action. She also called my daughters elderly grandmother. 302 703 0752 is the number she leaves. A phone all daily on my answering machine. What can be done to stop these calls.
