I got a phone call from from an unavailable number, picked up and got to talk to someone with a heavy accent, claiming that they are calling from the US grants dept. and that my number was selected to claim some money (didnt pay attention to the amount). I dont even live in the US, wonder how would the US gov give me money. Hahaha. They provided me with the number 302-722-6044 to call and claim my money. I started asking them questions about who they are, I asked the girl to provide me with an employee number and she couldnt. She gave me to speak with her "supervisor". He started explaining the same nonsense to me and when I started asking questions he became very rude and returned the receiver to the girl, but before that he tied to scare me that he is going to remove my number to receive . I laughed at them and just hang up.
It is a scam, dont call the number, dont provide them with any information about you.
