Yeah, we're getting calls, too. The recorded voice sounds like it's from the company itself. Some companies will do this with their Auto Dialer DID number rather than answer the call backs. Pain in the rear to figure out who it is though. Still researching. All I know is:
Current Telephone Company:
Original Telephone Company:
Xo Delaware Inc.
Original Telephone Company Type:
Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC)
I just got this call on my T-Mobile cell phone. I had forgotten to turn it off. I rejected the call, but I got voicemail, and there is no free way to listen or even to erase all my voicemail in one quick command, which I want to do because all of my current voicemail messages are spam.
I got a call on my cell phone last October from 443-937-8989. I didn't answer it, but the anti-TM web sites also reported that one as Spanish.
¿¿¿¿ Does everyone who got these calls have T-Mobile?
"Per minute" came up with a pretty wild possible explanation, but on 2nd thought, how else could they have gotten my number? Very few people know it. No businesses do.
Also, in response to Dave's comment: Does everyone here have a name that might possibly be mistaken for a Spanish name by some idiot?
Courtney wrote: Gonna guess it's spam or creditors. Anyone else have a CHASE account they might be behind on? Creditors are getting sneaky.
=> One person already said he is not behind on any payments, and creditors would call you more often. Since I've given out my cell phone number only to family and friends, it can't be bill collectors, plus I never an account with Chase.
