I DON'T GIVE MY CELL PHONETO ANYONE.. I GAVE IT TO AN INSURANCE AGENT AND I GET A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER. GUESS WHAT THE AGENT DID WITH MY CELL PHONE NUMBER?
Rec'd call yesterday January 13, 2012 @ 8:52am Pacific time. This was an automated call in Spanish which translated means "We have a gift for you." Then it disconnected. I called back and got a recording stating "The number you have dialed is unallocated." Rec'd a second this morning January 14, 2012 @ 10:42am Pacific Time my husband answered and it was the same recording which he h/u on.
I also received a call today Jan 14, 2012 @ 4:09pm from 805-995-4454 which was also an automated call stating they could lower my auto insurance and then disconnected. I called back 3 times. 2 times I was transferred to a v-mail and asked to leave a message. The 3rd time I was transferred to a man who stated they were with E&O Insurance. I told him he was a fraud and he got mad. I told him I was on the Do Not Call list and he ignored that. My phone died in the middle of the call.
Got a call several times over the course of several days from the phone number 302-861-8989. The first time I called the number back, I said hello and no one answered. The second time I called the number, a pre-recorded message with a male monotone voice stated: "The number you have called is unaligated."
