The number supposedly belongs to Colorado Locksmith 24 x 7 in Brighton, Colorado. I didn't call a locksmith. No one in my household called a locksmith. I have no idea why they would call me.
Searched the number after they asked for me by name, and I hung up.. Have been getting these calls saying they are collecting for the police. These callers ALL have a voice you would think COULD be a police officer. (I've had 3 calls from different ones in the last week.
Police do NOT call ever, for donations.
One person on here said they'd get a donation kit in the mail. That is not a good thing, either.
They already have our name and phone number, so, DON'T give them your ADDRESS! End the call, hang up, and block the number. These people 'go to work everyday'... to steal your identity, your money, and breach your security!
My local police instructed me about how to handle these fake calls, after i was scammed. I got it straightened out after 2 weeks of work on the phone. A local officer told me, that HE actually was scammed. They got into his bank account, and you can guess the rest. They 'work hard' every day! Don't let them get YOU. Hang up!
This number has called multiple names, no message and when I returned the call, a robot anwered... "goodbye." I have now tried to block it from my phone
