Do yourself a favor, go after the source of the provider of this number. It's either a "network", communications network or "manager" They are the ones that sell, share or rent our info. It's the provider that we need to go after since FTC has failed to do that. Be an active consumer that goes after the source. The FTC is too "overwhelmed."
I received a call from this number at exactly 9am! No message was left..and after reading the comments I have no intention answering it. It makes me mad that I have to take the time to block them. They shouldn't be asking for banking information. Crooks!
Automated call offers free cruise to the Bahamas. Reports on this phone number report telephone scams, and attempts to obtain people's credit card numbers. One report was a call from the number posed as Verizon support.
Got a call from them - they are a scam. Trying to find the "business owner" to "claim your Google Business Listing." Then they actually try to sell you a website. I told the guy that Google never calls businesses. He then hung up the phone on me. Three days later, they called again. I asked the woman what was the name of the company she worked for? As soon as I asked, she hung up the phone on me. I tried to call back, and got similar Verizon message. My guess is that Verizon has it labeled as a number that has been spoofed. SCAM.
