This was a recorded message of a man who said he needed to talk to me about important tax information. I don't live in Colorado and have never been there. He also did not give his name.
Got a phone message from this number .. that said to dial 1 to get to him and if we didn't call him back there would be severe consequences... Who is this ...
I called the number back... recording that says press one to be transferred to a representative... I pressed one ... music for a bit... a man says being transferred... then it says the corporate office is closed and to leave your name and address and they will get back to you.... Through all this they never say the company's name or who they are....
Same here... what bogus crud. The guy sounds so bored, and this matches a "cold" call I got about six months ago from another number. They're fishing for old people who get scared by the "there will be consequences" comment at the end of this.
Does anyone know a federal number we can call to report these creepy phone abusers?
