Received a phone call on my cell at work @ 12:47. couldn't pick up, so left it to go to voicemail. a voicemail was actually recorded, rather grainy, but a deep males voice saying the same as above:
"(voicwmail cut off first bit) calling from CSIR. important tax matter that requires your immediate attention; call me now at 855-819-6410. it is in your best interest to contact me immediately. Failure to respond will result in unintended consequences."
for s***s & giggles, i called them back seeing as even threatening "unintended consequences" can turn it into a legal matter.
Got a recording that stated i had reached corporate office, please leave name and number an we'll get back to you shortly, etc etc. left name and number.
Called back AGAIN and actualy got someone!
"_______ investigations, this is Jack"
didn't catch name of company, asked for the name again before anything else and HE HUNG UP.
Called back a 3rd time. Got a nice woman, said they were looking for a "Francisco". Told them i just got the number a month ago, not here. She thanked me, logged my number, and said i shouldn't be getting any calls from at least her location until the record updates.
And i was so looking forward to messing around with a scammer today. Damn!
But i digress... Honest company! pays to answer the phone sometimes and get it figured out so they don't repeat call.
Not an honest company. Total scam. These losers have tried reaching this same number from several different numbers. No one here has any tax issues, or any other issues for that matter related to this company. More numbers for the FTC to investigate. My I am keeping them really busy as of lately!
The number came up as "coxxen" this time as I have anonymous call block on as well as selective call blocking. The message starts out as, "I'm Brad Coxxen...." etc... Same numbers as above.
Same as everyone above but now calling from 303-495-6802. He has used several phone #'s. I tried calling them back but never get anything. Not even a recording.
I have no tax problems.
