Just got a call from the same number. The message I received told me to log onto verizonthankyou.com for a $100 towards my next phone bill. I checked it out and as much as I could tell the page was a mirror image of the actual verizon website. The difference was in the log in menu, which looked similar to Verizon's site, but asked for more info. The links on this fake page seem to send you to the real Verizon page from what I could tell.
I received the call today 5/18/12 @4:40pm - was told that I won the Verizon Summer Bonus for $100 off my next bill - go to www.myverizon.com/summerbonus which I did not, but sent Verizon Customer Service an e-mail asking for the validity of the call!
Just got called and I have ATT did not answer but if this has a website and a form to fish I would think
the feds would be on it by now. Looks like not.
Received message saying to go to account to redeem $100 credit. Message was broken up so didn't get full message. Did say it was Verizon. Notified Verizon.
