Problem started from Facebook. Got an email from a facebook friend to click on the link for 2 free Olive Garden gift cards total of 50.00 value. ALL LOOKS LIKE OLIVE GAREDEN LEGIT SITE!
Asks for your name, address, phone number, email address and date of birth to receive your free gift cards. Then the next page takes you to a pick free samples of different items but ASKS FOR A CREDIT CARD.
At that point I shut off my computer.
When I turned it back on I had spam emails left & right and within 5 mnutes thos company called PRO SUPPORT phone #304-841-0014 shows up on my caller ID. I answer and they guy tried selling me finacial services and asking for other personal information.
I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Comission {find phone number online} and Olive Garden Corp headquarters who verifyed it is not them and they were contacting facebook to stop it.
Call your phone company immediately and let them know or you will get a 9.99 charge monthly from this Pro Support every month!
I was tricked into giving my email address, home phone number, and cell phone number because I wanted to download something very important. I didn't get the download because I wouldn't sign up for their products so now I'm getting unwanted phone calls. Please Help!
