About the only way to stop them is to block them using your cell. Some are capable and some are not. The phone that they are calling of ours is not. If it continues, we may have to buy a new phone. Vaero, our phone company advised us to buy a Samsung, which all have that capability. I am sure some other brands do also. We were also advised to report it to the business office of our State Attorney General.
I received a call from this number confirming my order and then a hang up. I called my phone company and they blocked the number and made it possible that I have to give the ok before anything is charged to my phone.
I've received a number of calls from this number at all times of the day and night.
A few of you have said you blocked it from your cell phone but didn't mention how
to do that and I would appreciate info on a free service that will assist.
I started getting a bunch of junk mail and unsolicited phone calls as soon as I registered for the online Publishers Clearing House contest. Big mistake. I received two calls from this number which I did not answer. They did not leave a message, but when I called the number on my caller ID I got the same message as everyone else. A reputable company would have at least included the name of their businesss. I didnt order anything either. I strongly suggest that everyone start monitoring their credit cards to watch for bogus charges, as well. Also watch for recurring subscriptions that can appear on your telephone bill.
