The caller stated that he was calling from Microsoft about an issue with my computer. I've heard this one before so I just firmly told him there was nothing wrong with my computer and hung up.
I'm in British Columbia ---same call -- but asked for my husband by first name which is really annoying. I would have loved to have strung him a line ---kept the line tied up but I was busy so hung up on him.
ok yall this is my Dad's phone number that has been Hacked im sorry for all this it all started fatre a flood that flooded our farm he had to move and when he changed his his number location this happend i say again it's not me or him sorry
His first mistake he asked for Mrs. GTAontario as she had a computer problem. My wife has never touched a computer in her life. He just continued on when I told him this but I was curious about how his spiel operated. He claimed to have my IP# but wouldn't tell me. I wouldn't know if it was mine or not. When I told him the computer was off (which it wasn't) he asked to turn it on and he would guide me through the necessary fixes for FREE. lol lol I asked when did he want access to my computer. Oh no, he didn't want that. I was going to fix it myself. I finally hung up and he called right back asking why I hung up, which I replied that I was on the internet checking his phone number and I didn't want to talk to him. This phone number is #140 on my blocked call scammer list.
A heavy India accent, said his name was " Steve Albert" I'm like , yeah you sound like a Steve to me , don't these idiots realize that this scam is well known and won't work any more. Lmao
