I get calls from various "health" companies using several different numbers, including this one, on a daily basis. The common denominator is that every one of them claim I am a customer/client of Tri-Care. I tell them I have never heard of Tri-Care and to remove my number from their database and cease calling. Makes no difference - the calls continue. Sometimes several times per day. One caller claimed it was a "pain research" company - another a diabetic product supplier - neither apply to me. Every one of them mentions an affiliation with Tri-Care. The company needs to be investigated for telephone spam and possible scamming.

I received a call at 9:15 pm on 4/7/2015. The caller said he was from National Pharmacy on behalf of Tricare. He asked me by name and when I asked who he was he said "JOHN SMITH". The caller ID showed up as Marathon, FL. I am very leery by unknown people/companies calling and asking for me by name. As I asked a number of questions, he kept telling me he was in Meadowland in the United States. Then as I proceeded to ask for his information, he was too quick to tell me he would call me back tomorrow (4/8/15) at 5:00 pm. I kept him on the phone and asking for questions like provide me with your contact information and/or website. This looks like a scam. He said he would call be back and hung up. I called the number and when the phone answers, you are put on hold with a message stating a representative will be with you shortly. After holding for about five minutes, the recording comes on and says "goodbye" and hangs up.
This is a scam...like the calls from Microsoft technicians telling you your computer IP address has a virus and another good one is the IRS and there is a warrant for your arrest. Be aware that these are SCAMS!! No one calls from Tricare (I know because I have Tricare) late at night and they don't give you the run around. If Tricare contacts you, they have your information and won't need to ask you a million personal questions. They call when you leave a message for them or when scheduling an appointment.
