Just got a call . The guy sounded very latin from Puerto Rico . He said Im at a gas station your son had a car crash he is very ill cant talk. Please verify his name. I said no, you tell me his name if he is there with you! He said if you dont tell me his name now i will hang up the call. So i felt it was a scam and hanged up the call. Called my family asap . And my son was fine..
I had the same issue happen to me, do not give these people information about you or any of your family members this is a scam, It is not only fraud but identity theft as well, a friend of mine pinpointed this cell number to a prison in PR.
Report the phone to your local police department at once.
Never give your Name, SSN, DOB, Address or Banking information to anyone over the phone...EVER.
