I got this call on my cell phone and we are on THE DO NOT CALL LIST (what a joke)....1-305-407-3145. It was a slow speaking woman stating that she was from the IRS... we are to attend to this matter now so that the sheriff don't come to the house and arrest us for not filing our taxes... then at the end of the call she says HAVE A NICE DAY.... give me a break....IRS don't call you anymore than the man in the moon...
They said they were the irs and to call before action is taken against me just block calls it's a scam and do not give personal info such as ss #. The elderly falls for this stuff sometimes
They called my phone said we owed the IRS 6,000.00 from 2013 to 2014. I told them they are full of crap because I make no money and have a big family. I told them I would contact Jackson Hewitt where I do my taxes and talk to them since they could tell me the truth.
Received call from 305-407-3145 and the recording was from a Mrs. Johnson said that she was from the IRS and to call asap or action would have to be places on me. My husband is a CPA and informed me that was a scam. IRS doesn't call or leave messages on phone/cell. IRS sends letters ONLY!!!!! I had to block the number because call was coming in every day!!! BLOCK ASAP!!!!!
I got a called saying that i owe the irs 50.000 and that should pay them or the sheriff be here to lock me i told send the police here i'm be waiting for them he hung up .
