I must admit when I got a call the first time from Mr. Schwartz I thought it was a scam. But after looking up his companies info I realized they were contracted by a bank I had previously done business with. The individuals at Haynes & Assoc. were very professional and ended up helping me out a great deal.
Called my husband about an account that we have been disputing. (Been getting improperly billed by Lowe's for an account with a name similar to his.) Was rude about a civil suit until he found out my husband was in the military. Then offered to take $100 to make a $3500 bill "go away". Wouldn't even listen to the fact we have been talking to Lowe's about this whole problem.
Phone number is based out of Florida. We live in Washington. Claimed to be a law firm but acted more like a debt collector. Wouldn't be surprised if this was an information grab. They did have some personal info, like address and previous living.
Doing research, he also calls from a Texas based number, but the only Haines and Associates I can locate is in Philadelphia.
