Got a call from him on this number; he said his name was Greg Sigman. He said he wanted to speak at our school but refused to say about what. He is either mentally ill or running some kind of scam. I told him he was creepy and if he called again I would report him to the police.

Yeah a bunch of scam artists..! Some fraud collection agencies based out in INDIA...! calling using voip and harrassing peoples...! DONT PAY EVEN A SINGLE DOLLAR..!! These guys call and threathen to take money out but if you google their numbers they will result into some scam artists..!!! BULL Shi*... These Mother Fuc**ers wud be burried in hell..!
We received a call from a gentleman with a heavy Indian accent who stated his name was ROBERT and that he worked for US LEGAL COUNCIL. He requested to speak with one of our employees. I explained that, being a school corporation, that our employees could not receive personal phone calls and that he would have to contact her at home. He got very flustered and went on to say that it was our responsibility to get a message to her. I stated that we were not responsible for her personal business and again told him to contact her at home. He said we were responsible because she misappropriated funds by taking out a loan based on her paycheck and not paying it back. I explained that this was an issue between him and her. He said that because she was given the loan based on her paycheck from our company, that we were responsible. I stated that everyone gets a loan based on their income, but that the employer is not responsible. He became very argumentative and said that he would continue to call. I told him that if he had nothing better to do that waste his time and mine, that he could call, but that he would get the same response. I then asked to speak to a supervisor. He placed me on hold and when he came back he stated the supervisor was unavailable and that I would have to call back.
I called back later and spoke with a gentleman who said his name was MR. JOHNSON and that he was a Senior Accout Rep. and that there was no supervisor. I explained that I wished to discuss my previous call with Mr.Robert and went on to go over that conversation. He also tried to stress the importance of my taking a message. I explained that I was not going to take a message. He asked if he could fax a document to pass along to our employee. I told him to go ahead, just so that I could hopefully gather more info on this so called company. We never received a fax.
These calls are very similar to calls we received from a gentleman who sounded very similar to ROBERT. He asked to speak to an employee and was informed of our policy. He became very irate when I would not take a message and stated that our company would receive a black mark. He stated the same thing about us being responsible for the money owed by this employee and that we could be sued. I told him to do what he felt was necessary. He attempted several times to call in regards to this employee and each time he argued with me. Then we received several phone calls where he would call and blurt out obscenities and hang up. Since the calls came in as unknown caller, we were unable to issue a complaint. Then he called in on another line in the office and left a message for this same employee. He left the name of the company, 1st Attorney's Law Firm, and a phone number, 760-851-0932.
