Got 2 messages on my home voicemail. Same thing - heavy accent. Said he was a Federal Law Agent and they had a complaint about my identity and that it was time sensitive that I call back - thus why I looked up the number. Wish there was a way these folks could be prosecuted for impersonating a "Federal Agent."
I got a call from this number this morning and they left a message. I of course start to panic and I'm racking my brain of this I could have done wrong. Coming up short, I searched the number on Google and here I am. He claims to be a man named "John Harris" from legal law enforcement and says that someone has made a complaint against my name and my identity. Very heavy Indian accent. Glad to know this is a scam! And I agree, wish there was a way to report fake federal officers/scammers.
I just got a call from this number...same guy with heavy accent left a message on my phone. I almost called back but decided to check out the number first because it just didn't sound right to me. So glad I checked it out first!
