I got a call from 305-514-0441 saying that they need to speak me and for me to get an attorney as I am being broguht to court.
Couple things on this: 1. No debt collector can call your work to demand you pay a debt. It's illegal.
2. If you are being sued or brought to court and it's valid, then you will be served papers in person.
Also, the guy said his name was Mark Evans when he was obviously a ESL loser (no offense!).
I just told him over and over that his phone call was illegal and just laughed at him. I already reported this to the Credit Bureaus, my bank and FTC. So, I pretty much secure on this. But, my advice to you is take them as a joke. They can't do anything.
I just received a phone call from 305-514-0441 stating I was being sued for a "payday loan" that I have NEVER received. I have received two hateful threatening messages warning me that if I do not return this call and pay my "debt" then good luck. Something has to be done to these scam artists! Once I threatened to get my lawyer and sue THEM, then he quickly decided to hang up. Good choice buddy.
This number is litterally harrassing me. They call multiple times daily and constantly threaten me. They have my address, place of employment as well as my work number, and the last four of my SSN.
