Caller ID says Circulation. Get a call a few times a week from this number. Most of the time the call disconnects at the same moment I pick up the phone but today there was a woman with a thick accent who asked for our technical proposals manager. I'm sure it's to "renew" his "free magazine subscription" as we get those types of calls constantly. Once I can determine the nature of these calls, I make a note of the Caller ID and next time they call I simply pick up the line and put them on hold. They eventually hang up. It doesn't stop the calls but at least I don't need to talk to them.
I talked to her. She must be a liar. She said she is from NASA and kept asking me my personal information. When I stoped her and asked her why she asked my information, she did not give me a clear answer. After I confirmed her several times that if she didn't not give me a clear answer I would not give her further information, she hung out directly. She has heavy accent and sounds like less educated. Obviously she wanted to use my credit card money. I guess she may got my information from social network because she does not even have my real name. Next time when you get her phone call, say [***] her and her mother for me please. Thank you.
