Caller ID says call is from Marathon, FL (100 miles south, down in the Keys), but it has a Miami-Dade County area code. Creepy call. Always hangs up upon answering. No answer upon call back. Likely a ne'er do well up to no good. Hopefully, no damage done (but not optimistic about that). Strongly recommend ignoring calls from this number--do NOT answer and certain do NOT call back--and deleting it from phone records.
got a call from this number. It's some Indian accent male calling on behalf of american airlines stating I won a free trip to Cancun, Mexico or Orlando Florida. Told him no thanx. Call seems from a call center since I heard many people in background speaking. I wanted to verify with american airlines and asked for a number or website to verify information. Caller insisted he would call back next day which is today. Same gimmich, american airlines and such. I just hung up. Do not fall for this potential scam.
