He called me on 01/24/10 Super Bowl Sunday and had 6 Mid-Court SEC Tournament tickets. He said he had just sold 2 10 minutes earlier. I kept questioning him on why I had to go to a grocery store to send him a receipt if he was going to send FedEx COD. He got kind of upset when I asked him to send me a scan of the tickets. I may have gotten taken had I not looked at this number on the web before I left for Kroger. NOW HE KEEPS CALLING FOR KENTUCKY AT VANDY TICKETS! It always shows as a Blocked Number! This guy claimed to be Trent Blair. Stated that he worked in Charlotte, NC but his wife just had twins and he is back in Miami FL. The scam was for Black Eyed Peas concert tickets. Of course he wanted more for them, so my friends and I lowballed him by saying we could only afford $50/per. He countered with $55 - we accepted collectively at $220. Said he would overnight the tickets via FedEx through his company account. I was ok with the transaction until submitting the form, he was repeating things too often..."Make sure it says"... "Don't let them type the wrong info"... etc. Then he kept insisting that I submit the payment through Western Union as a debit. Immediately, red flags went up - and I didn't enter my pin #, instead swiped my card as a credit. I reported my card lost/stolen through my bank and because the charge was pending they removed the hold and I was refunded. Since they see my transaction history and that I never spend more than $30 at the grocery store helped tons.

He gave the name Trent Blair @ 18 Ocean Blvd, Miami FL 33144 (empty lot - Google street view) Penthouse# 2. Hate that he tried to get over on me and my friends. We're all working professionals who would've spent a lot more for those tickets had it been through Ticketmaster. Kind of feel sorry for anyone that has to resort to this lifestyle. I pray someone upstairs has mercy on his twisted little soul. Shame on you, you pathetic excuse for a man.

BTW: 1) This guy also claimed to get tickets all the time through his job, and suggested he would contact me again if interested. 2) called from a private number. 3) Claimed to have employ as an architect, but later recanted and claimed he worked for Marriott (thought nothing of it b/c I usually don't give a crap where anyone works or what they do). 4) insisted on making sure I wasn't a ticket broker.

This guy is right.  I got a pic from him and I am helping post it all over the web.  Go to myspace click find a friend and look up Billy Blair, or look up the email address which is [email protected].  You will see him standing at the counter talking on his blue cell.  With a white shirt on, glasses, black cap, believes it is a florida marlins cap.  Just one example to the twisted little man that I can get twisted too and put his pics all over the web.  Where can I post your pic next? Ebay? Craigslist? Its untelling.  How does it feel when everyone knows what you look like???
