have been calling for days and won't leave a message. When they called today I pressed 1, and then cut off the lady talking and asked if they will give be credit if I am being foreclosed on (not really happening, but I might as well make entertainment out of their nuisance) she said she would have to look at my credit first. So I proceeded to tell her that I just got parolled and it might take me a while to clean it up do to my work-release only letting me out supervised to work (no shopping). She hung up, and I'm pretty sure they won't call back.
got automated call about lowering my credit card rates
hit 1. live telemarketer said he was calling from "Consumer Services". He wanted to "prequalify" me for lower interest rates "on all of my credit cards". I asked him a series of questions including "give the name of your web site" he said they didn't have a web site. I asked: "ok, then give me a phone number I can call you back on." He said:" we're not set up for that." I said:" so you're not going to tell me what company you're calling from." he then hung up abruptly without saying anything
got a call telling me I could lock in an interst rate. hit 1 and a woman answered for "client services." I asked her for what company and she said, "we're client services for Visa Mastercard American Express and Discover." When I said that was interesting since I had cards from multiple banks she hung up. It this feels like a scam I think it is...do not give personal info to anyone on this number
