Scam. Woman claims to be calling from the local auto dealership where we purchased a vehicle years ago. Claimed she wanted to help set up a "scheduled service" appointment. She didn't even know how to pronounce the vehicle model properly. I checked the dealership's website and the number was not listed for any of their many departments. Number appears to be spoofed on Caller ID as being legit from dealership.
Calling several times a day up tp 8PM which means if they are really calling out of Miami they are on the phones as late as 11PM [midnight I suspect] as I am on west coast, they won't leave MESS(age) but if I am at the phone I will turn on fax and they hang-up [or my fax hangs them up?] immediately...
Best way is if your phone service allows blocking of certain numbers beyond anonymous on caller ID put these [***] in that to-block list...
FYI I am also on thee DNC Registery so apparently that means nothing to them either
Do not accept these calls and give them no information. This is a scam. They offered me 10,000 dollars I did not have to pay back. Wanted my ss number and dob. I called BOA they new nothing of these people. Even after I keep hanging up on them, they keep calling back. BEWARE!!!
Numerous repeated calls from "card services" asking for personal information. Do NOT give out your personal information. This is a very obvious scam. I'd report them to your state's Attorney General.
