this was a call from a company called premier gateway, and were offering a free trip. this company actually transfered me to a outside number 6 646 537 3462
Message to Chris - The Do Not Call List only works for honest telemarketers. Scammers who are phishing for your information don't obey the law so why would they obey the Do Not Call List? You can file a complaint at 888-382-1222. They could be fined up to $11,000 per call by the federal government for disregarding names listed on the registry. But we have to file the complaint. You need the phone and if you have the name that shows on you caller ID that will help too.
I just got another call from these bozos. They hung up on me immediately when I asked who was calling me. The prerecorded portion indicated "we have tried to reach you several times to offer you a lower interest rate."
The only information they got out of me was my name. I didn't even confirm my phone number to them. Since they didn't seem to *know* my name, I was instantly suspicious.
