this was a call from a company called premier gateway, and were offering a free trip. this company actually transfered me to a outside number 6 646 537 3462
Recorded message from "Account Services." Claimed that, according to their records, my current credit card interest rate was "way too high" and offered to lower it. Instructed me to press 1 to speak to an operator; 2 to remove me from their list. I didn't press either. Call dropped after a few seconds. I called the number directly; got a recording saying it was "no longer in service."
Have received several phone calls from this number.
All my phone numbers are on the "do not call" list.
Why do I continue to receive calls?
They all have the same recorded message about reducing my interest rate???
No message, but when you dial the above number (305-836-7371) to figure out what's up, there is a phone company recording that says "We're sorry but the number you reached is no longer in service...". Does that mean that the Caller ID number appearing on all our telephones is incorrect/being hijacked?
Just got another 2 calls from this number. Complained yet again to the fcc. Its obvious that this is a fraud/identity theft scam. Just don't answer your phone!
