a man speaking in heavily accented English (Hispanic) told me I am getting a "new Medicare card in the mail" (I'm not on Medicare) and wanted to verify my address and the bank where my Social Security checks are sent (I'm not on SS). He hung up when I asked where he was calling from.
Hi, Same thing just happened to me. Caller said "f**k you" and hung up when I asked if they could prove they were Medicare. I just filed a complaint with the FTC about it to avoid less savvy seniors from getting scammed. I hope it will go somewhere.
This is third call in a week. Caller ID says FLORIDA. I do not answer calls that I do not recognize. I am so tired and feed up with these calls. Monday, I had five calls that were scammers. They do not leave a message.
