Never answer a call from an unfamiliar number. If they don't leave a message, it's not legitimate. DO NOT ANSWER such numbers or call them back. That will tell them and their many spam partners that yours is a live, operating number and you'll get more and more calls. Block the number if you have that option.
This number has called my office THREE times (within an just today and no answer, just a hang up. I do not have time to continually answer automated lines.
Despite all the previous info stating this is outgoing telemarketers, I decided to try a call back.
Suprisingly a kid or young adult answered, said it was not a business, and that they had not called anyone in 3hrs. (I had recvd. a hang-up call 5 min. earlier). When they kept insisting they had not called, I advised them to have it checked into because, someone just called using that #.
