Never answer a call from an unfamiliar number. If they don't leave a message, it's not legitimate. DO NOT ANSWER such numbers or call them back. That will tell them and their many spam partners that yours is a live, operating number and you'll get more and more calls. Block the number if you have that option.
It keeps coming up on our Fire emergency phone. We have an automated answering machine that immeditaely informs 32 firemen. It is a darn nousience and we can't get anything done about it. The phone company says that they can't block the call without a court order and to get the police involved. Thats a joke in itself for those guys to do anything.
Annoying calls from this number will not stop. I searched and found it originates from MCIMETRO ATS INC.

Call and you will get a person to talk to, but it will do no good. You and I are at their mercy and they don't care who they aggrevate. Their attitude is 'screw you'!
