I got the same thing... I think these guys are getting our contact information from resumes posted online.
They might be collecting data on people and possibly using it to create credit using the banking + personal info you provide. Before you know it, you will have serious debts and destroyed credit...

This is absolutely 100% a scam. I also got the same message and looking at there web site and digging into it more it was just created in October 11, 2012. Also by looking at there site there is absolutely no dates of any sortes relating to this company. So use caution when dealing with these scammers.

Parsed the email through Spamcop reveals several fishy items of info. First Wesco is hosted through a RUSSIAN CSP, galkahost. And SC reveals that the origins of the email were forged, trying to make it look like it came through yahoo's email services, but SC saw through that amateur attempt.

SCAMMERS AND PHISHERS, pure and simple.

If this were an honest attempt would you not think they would use an honest service like gmail or yahoo instead of trying to bury it through Russian services?

We offered you the position of the Customer Assistant.

I too nearly fall to this scam.  When i asked them on how the business works and why the need to open an account, this is what they responded.

Dear

We will be billing our customers. You will have to collect payments
from customers in your country. About the collecting of the money from
customers is this done via your own bank account. You will have to
collect payments from customers in your country. You will be sending
them to a supplier of goods/services using money transfer systems like
"Western Union" and "Money Gram" and for that you will get your
commissions. During investigations of the International treaties, we
have discovered a scheme which does not contradict any legal standards
and allows us to reduce taxation by a transfer of funds to a physical
person. Such system is very convenient. It's been practiced for more
than 3 years already. We offer 720$ weekly as a fixed salary. Your
wages will be sent to your account. The number of positions is
limited. It is a home-based job with flexible and convenient schedule.
You can work from your home city. We require no more than two-three
hours a day. Our company is engaged in processing of payments received
from our partners. We are looking forward to your answer.
