It is an automated dialer and will call continually until somebody answers. The employees have no idea who they are calling our how many times you are called. But as long as you answer and simply tell them to take you off their call list then the calls will stop. If you tell them you are not interested, you will be put on alist that calls you back in two days. It's ridiculous!
Received a call from a woman at a company she identified as J&B Associates. She was calling for my son. I told her he wasn't home and asked if she wanted to leave a message. She said she was calling about his magazine subscription. Long story, but he'd been scammed by a subscription service which kept signing him up for magazines he never ordered and double-charging his credit card. I told her to stop calling him and said that he wasn't interested in a magazine subscription and that I knew it was a scam. She hung up on me. When I called the number back, the message I got was that it was not a working number. Steer clear of this scam!!
they called twice today. I researched the number and it belongs to Beau Damori of Wy. He has a Facebook account and LinkedIn account. Works for some energy company. He is probably being scammed as well, but any way, I don't know anybody in Wy.
Called multiple times per day over last three days. I finally got tired of this and picked up. Man explaining he was with J&B associates. He said he was able to make me a preferred subscription member and extend my Bassmaster magazine subscription for three years at a discounted rate. I explained I had recently renewed for five years anyway and declined. Called Bassmaster and they had never heard of this company. This is a scam! Even noticed it sounded like an incredibly huge calling facility in the background when I called....sound effects? This is dxactly why all unknown numbers at my home go straight to voicemail!
