Answered and heard a hang up click. So I called them back on a junk line that nobody answers and got a digitally altered voice telling me that I can press any number to be removed from their list. What that list is, they don't say.
It's not Google. It's a Google "partner" - they'd like you to think they ARE Google but they aren't. Between these "partners" and merchant service callers, it's a wonder we ever get anything done at all.
This morning we got our third call from this number. I blocked them after the first one so like crb said, it only rings once. My call blocking software is unlimited and I have hundreds of numbers blocked. I also keep track of them all, I have a 94 page list of numbers with notes ... If this IS Local Marketing, I had a call from 716-541-1347 and the CID said Local Marketing. ALL of these numbers are Google "Partners"
CID shows Local Marketing. That's code for scammers. I never answer these calls, just let them go to the answering machine and hope it's not a robocall I'll have to delete. This time it was just dead air for 15 seconds.
