I received an electronic message from 307-316-0806 saying I was having 2 charges filed against me in a fraud case. Requested I call their legal department, and I would be served at home, or at work.
Just got a voice mail from this number half way though in which it referred to me by a last name I have not legally used since 2004 (my ex-spouses name). This voice mail also threatened me with "2 summons in my county" - didn't name the county or why and did not leave a call back number. The number has been blocked from my cell phone so I won't have to listen to that joke any longer.
Just received a call from this number. The message was only partial, but what was left was..." there has been some recent activity using my ss# and that there were two charges being filed against me for fraudulent activity". And then the message cut off. No other info was left. Have no idea what it is for.
I got this message today, got the same message from a different company around Christmas time last year, it is from Cheyenne WY. I reported this number to Consumer Rights. It is definately a scam!!!
