I had responded to an employment posting on Craigslist and received an email requesting a lot of personal information. It is not REAL and is a joke. It is frustrating that some people waste other people's time when they are trying to find a job to support their families. I will never use Craigslist again because if this is the kind of stuff I have to deal with it; it isn't worth it. This reminds me of the Craigslist killer. Not worth it.
I got an email from this loser. I recognized it as as scam right away and e-mailed back with the word scam as a reply. The name he gave me was anderson smith. By the way, he's currently in Austrailia. haha. If you send a resume; it obviously has contact info on it, why w
ould he ask for it again--unless he's too lazy to open it. I want him in jail!!
My Question is . . . . . Can one not notify the bank and other government bodies so that:
1. No personal fraud will take place and we ended up being a victim and,
2. Responsible bodies will take the appropriate measure on him,
Is it possible to do that? If so how and where does it all begin?
I want him down too!
Plus . . . . What the [***] can he do with out personal information anyway? Not too personal like a social security number or anything but like a an Apt #? What are the possibilities? I gave him my Apt # . . . Who would ever believe that!
I know how you feel I revived a check for $3850.00 I really need the money however I knew it was a scam from the start. Whats scares me is how they obtained my information. The bank the check is from happens to be my bank. The guys name is Quentin Bellfield the envelope was from England hand written with no return address. I need a job and always loved Craigs List I have found great jobs on there before, its a shame the scammers can get through.
He has just emailed me. I answered an ad on facebook for a apartment manager job. He said it had been filled. now he wants me to send my information which I had already sent to him. Does he think I have stupid on my forehead????
