Forget about the National Do Not Call List. Those telemarketer SOBs don't honor it and the "Call List" has NO "Teeth" in stopping the calls. If you can get the name and address of the telemarketer, contact your state atty. general. They DO have "Teeth" and they WILL stop the calls. Also, contact Verizon and have the number(s) put on their call blocking list. This also works with your home phone service.
Senior Health Benefits telemarketing scam. I recieve a phone call twice a day with a recorded message, "Hi, this is Mike...." from many different phone numbers. I have opted out of receiving calls from the company and filed a FCC National Do Not Call Registry claim.
This time they wanted to send me a glucose meter. How did they know I was diabetic. Maybe just a coincidence but several days earlier I was doing some diabetes research. Just saw the message about saying they were calling about Senior Health Benefits. I have been an insurance broker for 40 plus years, when I asked my first question - end of conversation.
These idiots have some way a having a non-existent show in called ID. By the way, concerning my previous post, how in **** did they know things about me? There is no longer such a thing as confidentiality.
