I get calls approx 2 times/wk from these scammers. They give the usual line "your car warranty is about to expire" and to renew. "Push 1 to speak to ... and push 2 to get removed from the list. I tried "2" several times but they keep calling. Now I push 1 and have tried many things to find out how they are and to seriously remove me from their call list. I think I'll eventually write a letter to the Attorney General's office to file a complaints. These people are obvious SCAMMERS and need to be STOPPED!
Got a call from this number, it was an automated message saying that this is my second notice for my auto warranty before it expires. It says to press 1 to renew and press 2 to ignore. Well I pressed 1, and it said I was the third caller in line and to wait. Within seconds, a lady answered and asked if I wanted to renew my vehicle warranty they would need my vehicle make and model and be transfered to another person. Well, I asked if they knew my warranty was going to expire, they would know what the make and model was. They hung up. I called back and the number has been disconnected and is no longer available. Be carefull
Automated message stating second notice for a vehicle warranty about to expire. Pressed 1 to speak with someone for more information - connected to a woman who "had no information who I was or what vehicle I might have that caused this phone call" (I haven't bought from a dealership in a very long time and I haven't had a warrant on either of my vehicles for longer than that!). When I asked her to remove my information she became VERY rude and hung up on me. Not worth answering!
Just got a call from this number. I did not pick up. I immediately went to this site to see if this number was indeed spam (i.e. automated messages). The previous posts confirmed my suspicions.
