Who called from 3097

Offering help (I bet!) in stopping unwanted callers.......no doubt a new way to get us.

A 309-7 number calls . I answer and an automated voice says "goodbye" ?

That's all the numbers it shows on caller ID. Someone who can't speak English well and talking about a computer.

Got a call from 3097. That's literally it, just 3097.

Some dude told me my Windows computer had been hacked and I just hung up.

Don't trust this number. Probably a theft trying to get valuable information from you.

Same thing here.  We have 2 numbers (Home and Business) at our house and within 30 minutes, they called both of the numbers.  Call display shows only 3097.  On our home line, they were asking about "our computer" and on the business line, it was a recording saying "Goodbye".  If they call you about a computer, this is fishing, do not share any info with them but feel free to make them lose their time by playing on the phone a bit with them.
