Just called Time Warner Friday to set up Internet only. I've gotten two calls today. The first time there was nobody on the line. Just now they asked if I wanted cable, internet and phone. I said "no, thank you" and the guy hung up on me.
Have received 5 calls from this number the last two days. I refuse to answer. I too just signed up for time Warner Internet after switching from Verizon fios.
My cable services have recently switched to TWC. Yesterday I called to change my package. Today I just got a call from this number. When I said hello (thought it might be a friend or family member in California) there was no answer. I hung up.
I too just ordered Time Warner Internet and Phone only without the cable just last night. I gave them my cell phone as a number only for the installer to contact me prior to arriving for the scheduled install next week and my number to be associated with my account would be my home number which they ported for their service. This morning I received a call on my cell from this number to which they hung up as soon as I answered. Thanks TWC, I am annoyed with you already and I haven't even began your service.
They called twice and refused to tell me what company they represent aside from "a major cable provider". Finally told me she works for "All Bundles Cable" which is a fake company.
