I called Direct TV yesterday to find out if their rates were better than Comcast. The guy did everything possible to get me to sign up on the spot and was very rude. I received three phone calls from this number today but did not answer. When I called back the 310-201-4562number it said " You have reached an Invalid Pager". After reading the posts below, it most likely is from some cable company.
Find it odd i call up Direct tv to get a price and i get a call from 1-310-201-4562 trying to sell me cable I called up direct tv to ask if they sell my number OF course dont they give or sell your number

Just don't bother with them. You are not going to make
them go away. Put them on restricted call on your phone.
I got a call from 310-201-4562 3:29pm April 16 2014.
I try not to answer if I do not know the number and usually check the area code that it is coming from in case I should see it again, I know not to answer.
They called me twice. The first call I missed and when they called again they asked me if I wanted Phone, Cable, or Internet services. I told them I already had internet and the female caller hung up. I recently called Comcast due to problems with my service and I was less than a pleasant customer so I think it might have to do with that. I also later received a phone call from a "research company" at a NY phone number (646) 467-6665. Might be connected somehow since I haven't received any bogus calls like this since signing up for the do not call list in 2008.
