i happened to call direcTV last night for a quote and got a call today from these idiots claiming to be a "cable provider". never heard from them before. listed beverly hills and invalid when i called the number as others have posted. also got hung up on when i asked a question. the timing makes me wonder if directv is hiring somebody to find out why a sale didn't happen. i just wanted a quote also and also didn't give any info, but i guess my number was snagged. a law that requires a working callback number for this kind of stuff would be useful. any lobbyists out there interested in some pro bono work? :)
I've read the posts on here about "310-201-4562" California, all consistent, all say it's selling cable t.v.. I didn't answer, I saw it on my call list. They called less than two hours after activating my phone.
They called my cell phone twice today. I answered it the 2nd time and they said they were some sort of cable services. When I asked them why they were calling me, they hung up. Nice thing about cell phones, you can block unwanted callers!
