Appears that No mo ro bo blocks this one. Just now I heard it ring once, then that was it. I am a UCLA alum but suppose I am fine with them not getting through. I don't have much expendable income to donate anyway!
UCLA Call Center.
Remember folks, if you want to block these calls, you need to block each number individually - you can't add them all to a UCLA contact and then block the contact.
Caller didn't leave a message on my machine and the caller id said "UCLA BLUEGOLD". So I ran 3 reverse traces using 3 different types of traces and all were blocked for a person or business name and the only information was a general location of Los Angeles, California near the VA Greater Los Angeles Health Care Center using a service provider of Verizon California Inc.-CA (GTE). This is definitely a scammer that is either spoofing numbers or using a voip system while phishing for personal information and running some scam ( i.e. Alumni Foundation, Alumnus Funding etc. ). This number is not associated with UCLA. UCLA would never hide their identity and location from the public by blocking a trace. DON'T ANSWER AND DO NOT CALL BACK FOR ANY REASON. Block and report to the proper authorities. Phone companies should be held responsible for these types of calls since they are making money from them by providing the systems and services that these scammers use and possibly farming out numbers too.
