I felt the same way at first; if UCLA wants donors, they should cut more slack on the parking. I got two tickets when I actually had a permit; the permit fell off onto my dash and they still gave me a ticket. I was so mad, I did not give the university a donation for many years. I do appreciate the degree that I have and the career that I have now, so I gave a donation to my school's program because it was not their fault that the administration is a bunch of jerks, who by the way, tried to shut our program down because...get this - they could make more money in parking fees if they were to close down our school's program. The University needs to check its priorities.
