Yet another unwelcome robocall from this Burbank VOIP arrived today, less than 3 weeks since the last call on May 14. So many people have complained on these pages about this robocaller that 800notes.com must have decided to delete the many previous pages of complaints and start fresh on or about May 25. It won't take long for many pages to fill up again, based on the bad behavior of this caller.
One again, when the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, just dead space. This behavior is typical of illegal telemarketers who use automated dialers to place calls. If a live person answers, the dialer transfers the call to a live illegal telemarketer. Slick, eh? Legal telemarketers do not resort to such shady practices.
According to poster on the many deleted pages, this is a scam solar energy contractor (probably unlicensed), one of many who are trolling the phone lines in search of gullible victims.
DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM. DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER.
What is up with these "moderators" removing posts? Posting takes time and effort, and that effort is in the hopes it can save someone grief and hassle. Plus, the posts are very much appreciated by folks like me who really want these callers stopped. These moderators never say why they remove posts, even when asked. Why???
Might want to check the TOS! If you have a problem, take it up with Admin since its his/her house! Oh, posting here is not the place for this either, try the forum itself..
It may take time to post, but when you break the TOS, post vulgar , racist or give bad information its gonna be edited, deleted or checked and countered with the correct information. There are also filters in place for some stuff!
I can tell you this, from what I have learned. In addition to TOS violations, posts are removed when they become spam, as in a person repeatedly posting the exact same thing over and over again in the same or different threads, or when someone posts unsubstantiated and unverifiable personal information about someone. Just saying"I looked it up" or I did some investigation" doesn't hack it. There is also a huge influx of posters who seem to think that they can only get their point across by using vulgar language, and when the filter gets them they get upset and come back to try to post those words in a way to get around the filter.
